sunshine coast b.c deer ?

new to the area , anyone know any good areas for deer near sechelt or gibsons?? havent seen much of anything except bears. any info would be appreciated .

Take the ferries up to Powell River and over to Texada Island. The deer are all over the place, as the island has no predators, and the locals will be glad to see you take one or two (or three) as they are a real pest there. They're quite small, though, about the size of a German Shepard.

Deer about the size of dogs and just about as tame, lots of brush too.
