November 1st, first day of my daughter's doe draw. Yearling mule deer doe which was close to 200 pounds! The "lump" on the right shoulder is the bullet lodged under the skin.
25 WSSM 100 grain Swift Scirocco launched at 3300 fps, range ~80 yards. Hard quartering away, bullet entered on last 2 ribs and was lodged under the skin on the opposite shoulder. Recovered weight 79 1/2 grains - very close to 80%. Great performance considering impact velocity was ~3150 fps.

The more I see how the Scirocco performs the more I like it!
More pictures. I skinned the doe on Saturday and was quite pleased with the minimal blood-shot considering the impact velocity.
Entry
Entry inside rib cage.A golf-ball sized area of destruction as the bullet passed through the tips of the last 2 ribs.
Exit was about the size of a quarter.
Exit was through the ribs and into the upper part of the front leg. Velocity had bled right off and I was able to bone out the entire shoulder for a rolled roast with less than an ounce of wasted meat.
