Using Carbon To Mask Scent
Activated carbon is cheap and readily available. Just one gram of the black stuff has a surface area of 2.17 tennis courts. = a little goes a long long way.
Charcoal absorbs chemical and biological odors (soaps, sweat) And its black! So it makes great camo face paint. A little pouch in the pocket is great for checking the wind as you go. Once you are scentless (or closer to it than any product on the shelves) you can get a new scent by rubbing up to a young tree of the area you are hunting,.. I like bul pine because its pretty pungent Flies and mosquitos don't bother with me when I'm wearing the carbon either which is kinda like icing on an already delicious cake. I could have shared that over on hbc but they don't diserve it Happy Hunting Huntshoot

I think all these scent eliminators are a waste of money, since one molecule of your breath is all that is needed for game to wind you. Usually, I plan on breathing during my hunts.
![]() Oh ya, is there a carbon tax on what Steady has in her pocket?

I try not to eat meat for the last two weeks before hunting season opens and never eat meat while hunting undulates. I do think what you eat alters your breath on that molecular level. All they will be able to smell is the odd cigarette, apples, and ricola cough drops
