Has anyone bought knives online?

hi i am new to internet and dont know if it is ok to buy knives on line. i went to [snip] and they are cheaper but i dont know how to make a paypal. and are there problems when they put knives in the mail will they be searched or something?

I've bought a few knives from the U.S. from E-bay and had no trouble but the shipping cost can be expensive and there is a chance the package will be searched.
