Looking for some .22 BB caps or CB caps

I have looked high and low locally and most people in the stores don't even know what I am talking about.

If you have some kicking around I would like to buy a box or two for my .22 rifle. Gotta take care of some damaging rodents.

Thanks

Paul

do you mean the low report low velocity rimfire round? they are called cb longs or cb shorts . CT has them as well as most gun shops , perhaps they were confused with what you were saying?

I guess I am aging myself calling them a BB cap....

BB cap used to stand for Bulleted breech cap.

Is that what they call them now a CB cap. What I am looking for is the round that has NO powder, they simply use the primer mix to launch the bullet...either a round ball or a light bullet.

Canadian Tire has them?

You can also get the (sub sonic) ones that are even quieter than cb shorts.....

Sub sonic simply means slower then speed of sound so they are still plenty fast (about 1025fps), have a powder charge and have a loud report ,not as loud as a HV but still loud .

Aguila make a primer only bullet which is called the collobri or super collobri both are sub 500fps but they are hard to find

CCI is the most common and easiest to find, In fact i saw then at CT yesterday when i was picking up some stuff. they have a 29 G bullet at just ove 700fps and have a quieter report then an air rifle
